There is another good news for people including fans during the second phase of lockdown. The re-airing of ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Mahabharata’, which have broken several viewership records, there will soon be telecast of a ‘Shri Krishna‘ which is making a comeback on very TV soon.
Doordarshan channel itself gave this information by tweeting. As per the demands of Viewers to re-launch this serial for since a long time and now their wait is over. Doordarshan has decided to re-air the show.

It is sure that this tweet has definitely brought a smile on the face of fans.
Another reason could be seen with the rising TRP of Doordarshan behind the return of ‘Sri Krishna’ serial. As we all know the due to the lockdown, the shooting of the serials has been stopped, due to which all the channels are re-airing their old serials. In such a situation, Doordarshan telecast his most popular serials ‘Ramayana‘ and ‘Mahabharata‘.
After the telecast of both these serials, Doordarshan is getting record-breaking TRPs. Even years later, Doordarshan occupies the number one position in the case of TRPs. In such a situation, another popular serial ‘Sri Krishna’ is being re-telecasted after the huge demand from the audience.
The ‘Sri Krishna‘ serial was first aired in 1993. The show ran till 1996. This serial was directed by Ramanand Sagar. In which the leelas of Shri Krishna were shown. The role of Sri Krishna’s youth was played by actor Swapnil Joshi. This role was later played by Sarvadaman D Banerjee. Both became very famous due to Shri Krishna’s role.
